About this event
This event is put on by the Colorectal Cancer Resource & Action Network.
This year’s theme, “Early Age Onset Cancer: Redefining Current Models of Care in Canada,” will bring together clinicians, researchers, patients, caregivers, and advocates from across Canada and beyond.
The program covers:
- The lowering of the colorectal cancer screening age to 45 in Ontario and Prince Edward Island, and what it means for earlier detection across Canada
- Rethinking how we train primary care providers to recognize cancer risk in younger adults
- The growing role of innovation in cancer care, from selecting the right treatment to transforming care delivery
- A special spotlight on pancreatic cancer with our Clinician Roundtable
- Expert presentations, engaging roundtables, interactive breakout rooms, opportunities for attendee participation, and more!
Powerful patient perspectives are woven throughout, revisiting traditional models of care and bringing the realities of younger adults to the forefront.
