Run for Survival – Pancreatic Cancer Canada

*5km Run/Walk and 10km run

Pancreatic Cancer Canada’s Run For Survival (formerly known as Kathy’s Run) began in Edmonton in 2011 in honour of Kathy McCollum, who lost her fight with pancreatic cancer. Kathy’s passion for running inspired her friends, family and colleagues to create this event to raise funds for pancreatic cancer research.

In its first year, the goal for the run was to recruit 100 participants and raise $10,000. The support was overwhelming: the first run had almost 500 participants and raised more than $50,000. Fast forward 13 years, and the race has since raised over $950,000 and engaged thousands of participants.

In 2024, join us to reach our goal of $1M in total funds raised!
