This event is put on by the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Canada.
For over 26 years, The Father’s Day Walk Run supporters have helped us change the lives of men living with prostate cancer. 27 years later the disease is still here and so are we. In that time we have been able to award over 2.7M in grants and fund 98 research projects. We have also provided thousands of Reef Knot Kits to newly diagnosed patients, oncologists, and urologists across the country free of charge. In addition we support men and their families with over 66 local support groups, specialized on-line support groups, and one-on-one peer support.
In 2023 Prostate Cancer Foundation BC changed their name to Prostate Cancer Foundation Canada to reflect the work that they have been doing since 2021.
