National Cancer Survivor’s Day

National Cancer Survivor’s Day is marked on the first Sunday of June. The day celebrates survivors, and promotes the truth that life after cancer is possible. CCSN marks the day every year with an event at Ottawa City Hall. The event often includes a read proclamation from the Mayor or high-ranking city official, and a speech from CCSN CEO Jackie Manthorne.

Internationally, the day has gained traction in the United States, with events in several cities.
