Fire Fighter Cancer Awareness Month is marked every January. The day was created through a partnership between the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) and the Firefighter Cancer Support Network (FCSN). In Canada, the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs (CAFC) uses the month to talk about the cancer risks to firefighters, provide resources to those firefighters, and push government for better protection and coverage.
