Managing chemo’s side-effects

Check out the article in yesterday’s Vancouver Sun entitled “Managing chemo’s side-effects,” which includes a quote from me. The article is about febrile neutropenia (FN), which is one of the most common side-effects of chemo. FN is the combination of a low white blood cell count and fever of 38.3 degrees or higher. Left untreated, it can be life-threatening. Go to http://www.vancouversun.com/health/Managing+chemo+side+effects/7425676/story.html for the entire article.
