CADTH Call for Participants: Pediatric Glioma Concerns and Considerations

CADTH is seeking people (patients, survivors, caregivers, families or bereaved family members) with lived experiences of pediatric glioma to participate in a 90-minute meeting using Zoom.

CADTH involves patients, families, and patient groups in its work to improve the quality and relevance of assessments of publicly funded technologies, ensuring that those affected by the assessments have an opportunity to contribute to them.

Why is CADTH organizing a meeting about pediatric glioma?

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss your experiences with pediatric glioma treatment and discuss what is important to you and your family when it comes to treatment for pediatric glioma.

When is the meeting?

CADTH is aiming to hold the meeting on Thursday, May 26, 2022 on Zoom. An honorarium will be offered as compensation for your effort in this activity.

What will happen to the information gathered from the meeting?

The discussion from the meeting will be summarized and shared with all participants to help inform an additional multi-stakeholder meeting that will take place in June.

I am interested in this opportunity. What should I do?

Please complete this form to introduce yourself and indicate your interest in the meeting. CADTH is looking for a range of perspectives to be present at the meeting, so please mention your connection to pediatric glioma, and also whether your experience may add to the diversity of the group because of your cultural background, or your geographic location in Canada, for example.

Should you have any questions or require further information, please feel free to contact Tamara at any time.

If you know someone else who might be interested, please feel free forward this message to them.

Your experience, expertise, and perspectives are important to CADTH in its purpose to better understand and address the needs of children and families with experience of pediatric glioma.
