Sarah is our Education Program Coordinator, a new position at CCSN.
Sarah provides support for CCSN’s ongoing Seat at the Table Project by managing the planning and implementation of the Science of Cancer e-learning course—a program designed to empower cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers by providing them with the information and
resources they need to participate in important health-care decision making.
Sarah’s role includes working with Curriculum Committee members, subject matter experts, and patients and
survivors to synthesize collective efforts and organize the multiple aspects of course development.
Sarah recently received a Master of Research from the University of St Andrews in Scotland. While she thoroughly enjoyed living overseas, she is happy to be back home in Ottawa now.
In her free time, she enjoys playing with her dog, reading, and jewelry making.
