Kathleen Barnard, President and Founder of the Save Your Skin Foundation, will discuss her personal journey with stage 4 malignant melanoma and how her experiences inspired her to start the international patient group. As May is Melanoma Awareness Month, Barnard will talk about her constant battle with melanoma, from her diagnosis to her work as a survivor, and what is currently happening in the melanoma landscape. She is living proof that with enough tenacity, one can harness negative experiences to create positive outcomes.
