Patients Respond to Federal Minister of Health Dr. Jane Philpott’s Remarks on Addressing the High Cost of Pharmaceuticals in Canada

Louise Binder, a woman living with HIV and a long-standing health policy advocate, is available to respond to Dr. Jane Philpott’s upcoming announcement on addressing the high cost of pharmaceuticals. Representing Save Your Skin Foundation, a national oncology group for people living with melanoma, Louise is a member of the Drug Pricing Policy Working Groups, made up of representatives from diverse patient organizations that encourage various stakeholders to reconsider the way they measure the value of potential lifesaving drugs, to improve access to treatments in Canada and to address the high cost of pharmaceuticals.
