Participate in ‘Pause for a Cause!’

The courage and determination of cancer survivors is an inspiration to us all.  June 7th is National Cancer Survivors Day, and that day and the week after, the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network (CCSN) will honour survivors who are living with and beyond cancer.

Participating in Pause for a Cause is simple!

Just put on a pot – or three! – of coffee or tea, invite colleagues and friends to join you, ask guests to put in a toonie (or more), and you’re done!

Get started now. Email info@survivornet.ca and say “count us in” to obtain the registration form for your coffee party, promotional materials for your bulletin board and newsletter and more ideas for a fun coffee break.

Pause for a Cause! Take time to honour a cancer survivor. Participating companies should email their logo to info@survivornet.ca for recognition on CCSN’s website, survivornet.ca.

CCSN works to connect patients, survivors and other stakeholder groups with decision makers and the wider community to engage in discussion and to act on evidence-based best practices to alleviate the medical, emotional, financial and social costs of cancer and encourage research on ways to overcome barriers to optimal cancer care and follow-up for survivors in Canada.
