McGill Looking for ON & QC Volunteers for Study on Self-Care After Cancer Treatment

Have you completed your cancer treatments and are finding it hard to get back to doing and enjoying your “usual” activities, including returning to work, socializing with friends, completing daily chores, engaging in pleasurable leisure activities or maintaining a nutrition and exercise plan?

A McGill University-Princess Margaret Cancer Centre research team is offering free self-care tools (relaxation/mindfulness CDs/MP3s & cognitive behavioral therapy skills-enhancing workbooks) as well as telephone coaching to eligible persons aged 18 and over in a study funded by the Canadian Cancer Society.

Participants are asked to complete 3 feedback questionnaires. No travel is required and the study is open to QC and ON residents at this time.
