CCSN Launches New Website

OTTAWA, ON – To continue celebrating their fifth anniversary, the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network (CCSN) recently announced the launch of their newly revamped website. The redesigned website offers quick and easy access to vital information for the cancer community. The website features three main highlighted sections titled Connect, Learn and Act.

“We are very excited about our new website launch and the information that it can provide to the cancer community. Cancer survivors, patients, caregivers, families and our partners will be able to find important information through an easy to navigate platform,” said Jackie Manthorne, CCSN President & CEO. “Featuring a very user-friendly interface as well as a responsive web design, the site will allow visitors to find the information that they need in a timely manner.”

As mentioned, the website features three main highlighted sections:

  • Connect:

    • In this section, visitors will find everything from recent news, upcoming events, how to become a member of the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network, current partners, cancer centres, how to find doctors and information on Medicare.
  • Learn:

    • This section provides information on different types of cancer and looks at specific health concerns for cancer patients. With so many different cancers, our goal is to keep our community informed on Canadian organizations, international organizations, screening programs, survivor stories and cancer blogs.
  • Act:

    • This section provides information on how patients, survivors and caregivers can get involved in improving cancer care in our healthcare system. The Canadian healthcare system has many moving parts, and it is crucial to stay up-to-date as well as informed on how we can positively affect cancer care in the country.

The Canadian Cancer Survivor Network encourages you to visit www.survivornet.ca to explore our new website. Please note that work continues on the site to ensure it is as up-to-date as possible.
