The Service Plan of the Ministry of Health of British Colombia includes shifting their focus from not only treating disease but also to preventative measures. Health Insurance BC is responsible for the administration of the Medical Services Plan (MSP) and PharmaCare programs. All B.C. residents qualify for MSP coverage, which covers most physician services.

The Fair PharmaCare service provides prescription drugs insurance for British Columbia residents based on income. To be eligible, you must have a valid MSP coverage and have filed your income tax. Visit the Ministry of Health .
