All of the province’s health services, including physiotherapy and occupational therapy, are provided by a single organization, the Nova Scotia Health Authority. They offer a Cancer Care program that includes survivor support and rehabilitation as well as exercise, eating and emotional health recovery. Most rehabilitation services are offered in Halifax at the Nova Scotia Cancer Center but there are physiotherapy and occupational therapy services available in Cape Breton and other locations. Speech-language pathology services are provided by the Nova Scotia Hearing and Speech Centres, at various facilities around the province.
