Marlo’s experiences with chemo-induced nausea and vomiting. Marlo suffered from chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She remembers being so sick from chemo that she missed her family’s Christmas celebrations one year. She wishes that she had had access to medication that would have stopped her from being so ill.

Marlo’s Story

Catherine’s experiences with chemo-induced nausea and vomiting. Catherine was diagnosed with breast cancer twice. The first time was 15 years ago, when she did not receive medication to control the nausea and vomiting that resulted from chemotherapy. She was very sick after each round of chemo, and was not able to fully participate in family life. The second time she was diagnosed, she received medication to control nausea and vomiting. To this day, she is still upset that she was not able to afford the medication the first time around.
