This section provides listings of global organizations that provide information and resources about asbestos and mesothelioma.

MesotheliomaFund – The mission of Mesotheliomafund.com is to connect patients and their families with medical and legal specialists, both to answer any questions they may have and to assist them in obtaining best possible treatment for their asbestos related condition and to help them obtain the necessary funds to pay for that treatment. The goal is to provide the most up-to-date information available, including general information found on this site as well as more specific, targeted assistance through books and pamphlets. MesotheliomaFund has a team of patient advocates, whose goal is to make a difference for mesothelioma victims and their families.

Mesothelioma applied research foundation – The Meso Foundation (formerly MARF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending mesothelioma and the suffering caused by it, by funding research, providing education and support for patients and their families, and by advocating for federal funding of mesothelioma research.

Mesothelioma support group – The mesothelioma experience is often daunting and isolating. In order to help patients, caregivers and family members cope, the Meso Foundation offers several mesothelioma support groups. You can join our telephonic groups (schedule listed below) which meet every two weeks, or you can receive mesothelioma support through our Facebook groups on your own time, at all times of day or night.

International mesothelioma interest group – iMig is an independent international group of scientists and clinicians working to understand, cure and prevent mesothelioma.

International Ban Asbestos Secretariat – The International Ban Asbestos Secretariat (IBAS), established in 2000, provides a conduit for the exchange of information between groups and individuals working to achieve a global asbestos ban and seeking to alleviate the damage caused by widepsread asbestos use. Such use may be largely historical in the established economies of the West but is continuing in developing nations.

Mesothelioma Guide – The mission of MesotheliomaGuide is to guide mesothelioma patients and their loved ones toward answers, care options, and free health solutions that improve their lives. Mesothelioma Guide was founded with over a decade of experience serving the mesothelioma community and a commitment to creating a better environment for patients and family members. By remaining a for-profit company, they able to dedicate hundreds of thousands of dollars to free top-tier resources and patient support staff.

Mesothelioma Veterans Center – The Mesothelioma Veterans Center was created to provide information and assistance to veterans regarding treatment, clinical trials, and VA benefits for veterans suffering from asbestos illnesses. The MVC was founded by retired Navy LCDR Carl Jewett. Commander Jewett is a VA-accredited claims agent and has helped hundreds of veterans get approved for their VA benefits after developing mesothelioma or asbestos related lung cancer from their asbestos exposure in the military.

Global Ban Asbestos Network – The Global Ban Asbestos Network (GBAN) Social Media Community is a non-profit and independent initiative established to promote and facilitate collaboration, communication, and action to achieve a global asbestos ban. GBAN is a one-stop portal that brings together interactive social media outlets to promote an end to asbestos mining and use, thereby preventing continued exposure to this known human carcinogen.

Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization – ADAO was founded by asbestos victims and their families. ADAO seeks to give asbestos victims and concerned citizens a united voice to raise public awareness about the dangers of asbestos exposure. ADAO’s mission includes supporting global advocacy and advancing asbestos awareness, prevention, early detection, treatment, and resources for asbestos-related disease.
