This event is put on bu Tali’s Fund
“The marathon will take place in-person Sunday, Oct. 15 or virtually Oct. 1st-31st, and we would love to have you join us!
Tali‘s Fund was established in memory of 4-year-old Tal Esther Doron, a child who courageously fought to battle ATRT, a highly aggressive and rare brain tumour. Despite brain cancer remaining one of the most frequently diagnosed cancers in children, current treatment methods remain relatively ineffective and detrimental to neurological development.
Through Tali‘s Fund, we fuel the essential research to discover better treatments and ultimately, a cure. Over the last 15 years, we have helped pave the way for ground-breaking discoveries in treatment for children with brain cancers. We pride ourselves on knowing exactly where our donations are going and our ability to follow the progress of the specific projects we choose to support.
We are sharing an exciting opportunity to join the Tali’s Team or to create your own team in support of Tali’s Fund during the annual Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Register to walk or run the distance of your choice – 5K, half marathon, or full marathon!
There are various ways to participate:
1. Runner – join the in-person race on Oct 15, 2023 or the virtual run from Oct 1st to 31st
2. Team – create your own team with friends or register your business to run with staff
3. Donor – make a single donation to Tali’s Fund
