June 22 is the first World Kidney Cancer Day where international kidney cancer communities raise awareness and funds for kidney cancer.
Kidney Cancer Canada marks World Kidney Cancer Day through a number of initiatives to help improve the lives of patients and their families. You will see kidney cancer information awareness campaign combined along with a campaign to raise much needed money for research and to support our free patient programs.
During the month of June, we are asking you to set up your own in-person or virtual fundraising event in your community leading up to World Kidney Cancer Day on June 22.
Events can be simple; you can organize a car wash or yard sale, you can host a dinner with friends, you could set up a 5km walk, you could tee up a golf tournament or you can arrange a casino night – the ideas are endless.
Kidney Cancer Canada is here to help you with communication tools, tips on how to create an event and our easy-to-use fundraising website.
