Spurred by important advances in biomedical research, Canadian health systems are on the cusp of a new era of precision medicine.
However, capturing the promise of precision medicine will only be possible if a wide range of partners – from policymakers and patient groups, to clinicians and innovators – can come together to accomplish three key goals: (1) Improve the reimbursement of genetic tests; (2) Optimize the use of RWE to reduce payer uncertainty and (3) Accelerate the development of Managed-Entry Agreements. How can we work together to achieve these shared objectives?
