The 35th Annual CAPO Conference: “No One is an Island”

Now Virtual – July 14-16 2020

It is more apparent now than ever that the Canadian Association of Psychosocial Oncology (CAPO) conference theme “No One is an Island” and the need for connection is a part of the foundation of psychosocial oncology. CAPO is treading into new territory, never before having offered a virtual conference. They hope that the decision to offer the conference virtually will further address the CAPO2020 theme to increase access and remove barriers to psychosocial oncology research and clinical information for Canadians and abroad.

The CAPO 2020 conference will run from July 14-16, a hybrid of both LIVE and PRE-RECORDED content. Capo is striving to provide an interactive experience for all delegates. Pre-conference workshops will also be offered on July 13 in separate timeslots throughout the day, allowing delegates the option to attend multiple sessions if they wish, something we are not able to offer with our regular in-person conferences.

Presentations will be available as follows:

·       90 minute workshops: LIVE presentations
·       Symposiums: LIVE presentations
·       20 minute orals: LIVE presentations
·       10 minute orals: Pre-Recorded presentations
·       Posters: e-poster board with pre-recorded messages and chat function
