The 2018 Ottawa Stroll for Liver is scheduled for Saturday, June 9, 2018 from 10am– 2pm in Vincent Massey Park. This is the 12th Ottawa Stroll for Liver and next year the Canadian Liver Foundation celebrates 50 years as a charitable organization. Ottawa Mayor, Jim Watson, will be attending this year’s event and we will enjoy a delicious liver-friendly lunch, courtesy of Nutrifarms! The bouncy castles and Junkyard Symphony have been booked and I hear Spider-Man is strolling too! Attached is our 2018 Stroll for Liver brochure.
The Canadian Liver Foundation’s Annual “Stroll for Liver” is a family event where people of all ages can walk in support of families living with liver disease in their community. We are seeking champion supporters, along with their staff, colleagues, families and friends to attend or participate as walkers to raise pledges in support of liver research and local education to raise awareness and improve early diagnosis and treatment of Canadians living with liver disease. Individual and team participation in a Stroll for Liver is FUN and EASY! Everyone is welcome – adults, kids, athletes, or people just looking to enjoy some camaraderie and exercise. Team members can include staff members, friends, family, students or community members. This is the 12th Ottawa Stroll for Liver and next year Canadian Liver Foundation celebrates 50 years as a charitable organization.
