• Day 1 September 17 : ‘The ‘New Normal’ for Support Groups’ is open to anyone interested in playing a role in prostate cancer leadership including existing and prospective support group leaders. Sessions on this date will include leadership and communication training with professional facilitators and a special presentation from Dr. Brian Goldman, best-selling authour and CBC radio host.
• Day 2 September 18 ‘Prostate Cancer Realities’ is open to anyone interested in expanding their knowledge of living with prostate cancer. Sessions on this date will include finding trusted information about prostate cancer, genetics, coping with anxiety, maintaining intimacy in your relationship, what’s on the horizon for treatment in Canada, and more.
Presenters will also include acclaimed Canadian researchers, health care professionals, and more including Dr. Linda Carlson, Sway Partners, Dr. Michael Cox, Dr. Juanita Crook, and many more.
