CADTH Lecture Series – HTA and Quality Improvement: The Whole is More than the Sum of Its Parts

The next iteration of CADTH’s ongoing lecture series is an exploration of the approaches of health technology assessment (HTA) and and Quality Improvement featuring Dr. Irfan Dhalla, Vice-President of Evidence Development Standards at Health Quality Ontario. The event takes place from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dows Lake Court Conference Centre in Ottawa. Registration is free and a live stream is available.

Health technology assessment and quality improvement have different historical and philosophical underpinnings, but people who use either approach share a common goal: better health care, and ultimately better health. The two approaches can be used together to achieve more than either approach can achieve alone. Please join us in person or online for a discussion of the two approaches, and how they can be used together to improve health and health care for all Canadians.
