On Thursday September 15, 2022 Brain Cancer Canada and other Co-Event Sponsors are hosting a gala event in support of pediatric and adult brain cancer research.
Guest Speakers are Dr. Sunit Das a neurosurgeon and scientist at St. Michael’s Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Kids, and Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto. He currently serves as the CNS Tumours Lead at Ontario Health (Cancer Care Ontario) and Dr. Sheila Singh a Professor of Surgery and Biochemistry, chief pediatric neurosurgeon at McMaster Children’s Hospital, the Division Head of Neurosurgery at Hamilton Health Sciences, and the inaugural Director of McMaster’s new Cancer Research Centre: Centre for Discovery in Cancer Research.
Funds raised from the gala will support the most promising and innovative brain cancer research and advances in neuro-technology. Your support will help to accelerate research and improve the outcome for children and adults diagnosed with brain cancer.
