Trina Fraser, Legal Counsel – BrazeauSeller.LLP

Trina Fraser joined BrazeauSeller.LLP as a first-year lawyer in 1999, and has since become an effective problem solver and trusted adviser to her business clients. Her broad legal practice includes business and commercial law, Internet and e-commerce law, civil and commercial litigation, and trade-mark law.

Trina negotiates and drafts a wide range of business agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, intellectual property licenses, commercial leases, franchise agreements, non-competition/non-disclosure agreements and marketing/distribution agreements. Her clients have included some of the world’s largest online casinos. She also assists companies in conducting online contests, and regularly advises clients with respect to the statutory regime in Canada for regulating contests and lotteries. In addition, Trina is a registered trade-mark agent and provides counsel to her clients in protecting their intellectual property.

Trina has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a law degree from Queen’s University. During law school, she was the recipient of the Fasken Campbell Godfrey Prize in Civil Procedure and the David Sabbath Prize in Evidence.

Trina is an accomplished pianist who also enjoys playing a variety of sports, including volleyball, basketball and tennis. She and her husband Jason share a son, Daxton and a daughter, Emmerson.
