Liver Cancer Advisory Council

Council Members

Andrea J. Wilson founded Blue Faery: The Adrienne Wilson Liver Cancer Association in 2002 after losing her 15-year-old sister Adrienne, whom she raised for seven years, to stage IV liver cancer.

Blue Faery’s mission is to prevent, treat, and cure primary liver cancer, specifically hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), through research, education, and advocacy. Blue Faery has numerous programs including the Blue Faery Award, HCC Patient Education Brochures, a Liver Cancer Community, One-on-One Support, and more.

Raising Adrienne has been Andrea’s greatest joy in life; losing Adrienne to primary liver cancer has been her greatest loss. Andrea’s goal is to see a cure for HCC in her lifetime.

About the CCSN Liver Cancer Advisory Council

CCSN is establishing a Liver Cancer Advisory Council to help direct our work on behalf of liver cancer patients and their families.

The Liver Cancer Advisory Council of the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network will provide expert advice to the Board and CEO. It is made up of liver cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, family members and healthcare professionals interested in working hand in hand with patients.
