How is melanoma skin cancer diagnosed?
If signs or symptoms point to a person having melanoma, the clinician will need to find out if it is melanoma, non-melanoma skin cancer, or some other skin condition. If melanoma is found, other tests may be done to determine if it has spread to other parts of the body such as lymph nodes.
