Living Well with Cervical Cancer

A cancer diagnosis can be a turning point, where people have to make lifestyle changes to help them adjust to the physical and emotional toll that cancer takes on the body, mind and spirit. A diagnosis can help them focus on their health in ways they may not have given much thought to in the past. This section wants to help, by providing information on nutrition, physical activity, and mental wellness relevant to those who have been diagnosed with cervical cancer.

We also focus on survivorship, in recognition that cancer has a long lasting psychological and physiological impact on people. In particular, we will focus on the recurrent cervical cancer in survivors and managing the fear of recurrence, in addition to addressing long-term symptoms like lymphedema.
