Save Your Skin Foundation, the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario, the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network and other patient groups held Drug Pricing Policy Summit: Patients Redefining Health Care. The 3rd annual Summit builds on the 2016 and 2017 Summits which provided an unprecedented opportunity for patients, caregivers and patient representatives from diverse disease and disability groups to come together to discuss a shared vision for health care in Canada.
The 2018 Summit dove deeper into Value-Based Health Care (VBHC), introduced to participants at the 2017 Summit, within the context of drug treatment and will build a work plan for VBHC in Canada, led by patients, caregivers and their allies.
