Its principles encourage you to ask your health care professional important questions, and keep the answers in a structured way to better manage your medications.
The MedSafe app was created as part of the 5 Moments for Medication Safety, a patient engagement tool developed to support implementation of the third WHO Global Patient Safety Challenge: Medication Without Harm. Each moment includes 5 critical questions.
Some of the questions are reflective for the patient and some require support from health professional to be answered and reflected upon correctly.
