The CCRA provides a forum for its members, cancer research funders, to identify and establish collaborations to more effectively advance cancer research and cancer control in Canada. The alliance facilitates partnerships around national research priorities that the group has collectively identified. The CCRA Executive Office is wholly supported by the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer.
The Board is comprised of 15 members. There are 2 non-scientific members, representing patients/survivors/families affected by cancer. (The positions are presently occupied.)
