St. Mary’s General Hospital, Patient and Family Advisory Council
The Patient and Family Advisory Council serves in an advisory capacity and makes recommendations on matters that impact the patient and family experience at St. Mary’s General Hospital.
The council ensures that the perspective of patients and their families is incorporated into organizational activities and decision-making.

The council actively promotes and creates new opportunities for communication and collaboration among patients, families and staff.
The majority of council members are patients, family members and caregivers. St. Mary’s staff and physicians will also be represented on the council.
The Council will meet six times annually: September, November, January, March, May and June for two hours per meeting.
