The Advisory Council is comprised of patients, family members, staff, and physicians. It provides direct input into policies, programs, and practices that affect the patient experience. Advisors will be encouraged to share their first-hand experiences and provide advice on all aspects of care including access to services, patient information, program and space design, signage, and communication.

The Council normally meets once a month for approximately two hours but additional work may be required between meetings. Advisory Council members are asked to make a one-to-two year commitment and to attend at least 75% of the meetings.
