This webinar will continue to explore urinary incontinence after radical prostatectomy (RP). Bill Landry will outline the anatomy and physiology of the male urinary system before and after RP surgery, the types of incontinence after RP, and the pelvic floor muscles.
This public workshop, hosted by the FDA, is a forum for discussion of cardiovascular toxicities in immuno-oncology clinical trials. The focus of the workshop is to identify best practices to assess cardiovascular and metabolic toxicities in patients receiving cancer immunotherapies. The workshop will be held at the FDA White Oak Campus from 8:30am to 5pm, and there will be a webcast available to those who register.
This 45 minute free presentation from the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will discuss the stresses associated with diagnosis, treatment, challenges experienced mentally, and overall coping for the patient and family. It takes place in the Halifax Central Library from 6:30pm – 8pm AST on December 7, 2017.
Prostate Cancer Canada Network Ottawa’s (PCCNO) December meeting will be their annual Christmas get-together. It all happens Thursday Dec. 21st, and will feature food, drinks and entertainment from the Original Trillium Dixlieland Jazz Band. The event is open to one and all! The CFL Fans Fight Cancer Organizing Committee will be raising funds in support of The Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation’s, Maplesoft Cancer Survivorship Centre in Ottawa from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Courtyard Marriot on 350 Dalhousie Street. The event includes silent and live auctions featuring CFL memorabilia. Admission is free and donations are appreciated.
