World Cancer Day takes place on February 2nd. The day is marked by the Canadian Cancer Survivor Network at out offices in Ottawa, Canada. The day raises awareness about cancer, encourages education on its treatment, screening and survivorship, and celebrates the achievement of everyone on the cancer journey.
