Opportunity to engage patients to help create ‘safe zones’ for conversations with family doctors

The Canadian Cancer Action Network (CCAN) is pleased to partner with the College of Family Physicians of Canada and Choosing Wisely Canada to help inform the development of a patient-centred tool to encourage patients to engage in conversations with their health care providers. This will support The College of Family Physicians of Canada and the Choosing Wisely Canada objective to help patients feel comfortable asking questions and having conversations with their family doctor.

Below is a link to a short 5-minute confidential survey to inform what a ‘safe zone’ might look like, in a clinical setting from a patient perspective.

The College of Family Physicians of Canada has scheduled the survey to close on August 21, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
